• CONSTRUCTION – Tulum is currently experiencing real estate growth, so it’s important to know that there are constructions all around, and some streets may be unpaved. Construction hours are usually from 9 AM to 5 PM but can occasionally extend from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. Depending on the stage of construction, there may be loud and bothersome noise.

• WILDLIFE – Tulum is home to a great diversity of species, including turtles, jaguars, tropical fish, birds, rodents, and insects. Due to the vegetation, climate, and construction, you may encounter some visitors. This is not due to dirtiness; they are simply in their habitat that we share with them, and they are not dangerous animals or insects.

• BASIC SERVICES – Tulum is experiencing significant growth for which it was not originally designed, and the government and service companies are working to improve it. However, at the moment, services such as water, electricity, and internet may be interrupted due to weather or maintenance issues, which are completely beyond our control. Sometimes, they provide advance notice, and if so, we will inform you promptly, but many times, interruptions occur without prior warning.

Rest assured, we will do everything possible to ensure you have the best stay, but we ask for your understanding, as some situations are simply beyond our control.
